About the piece

The piece is based off the idea of being at the edge of a forest entrance and slowly walking in to the unknown. When you walk in to a forest, at night, you become more aware of your own heart beating louder and harder in your chest; the soft rustling of branches as the wind whispered through the forest; owls calling out to one another; and the howl of the creatures that hide between the trees.
